In the height of the backlash to Common Core standards, New Leaders published the stories of leaders who were able to improve their schools. Accompanied with case studies, policy recommendations and ready-to-use resources, Ambitious Leadership provided detailed insight into the meaning behind standards and how to achieve success. A mountain climb metaphor within the text provided inspiration for the cover and interior design, that was brought through the report and related documents.
